THUNDERCLAW[]

Thunderclaw

Thunderclaw was a native american warrior that learned the secrets of the mighty bear totem from his tribe’s medicine man. But Thunderclaw’s soul was not pure. He abused the powers granted to him by the spirits for personal gain and therefore became cursed. Shunned by his people, he left his tribe and their traditional ways. At some point he joined up with the Cisco Pike Gang. He quickly became one of Cisco Pike's more trusted men, though Pike did ridicule Thunderclaw religious beliefs in the great bear spirit. When the gang attacked the town of Wells Junction, Thunderclaw was instructed to take Yin and Yang and rob the town's bank. Thunderclaw knocked down the bank's door with his incredible strength but the criminals were soon opposed by the Rawhide Kid. The Kid then dispatched all three of the criminals, who then drew their guns on him.

Power Sets[]

STRENGTH OF THE BEAR SPIRIT

Enhanced Senses D8, Enhanced Strength D8, Enhanced Stamina D8, Mystic Resistance D8

SFX: Grapple. When inflicting a restraining or immobilization complication on a target, add a D6 and step up your effect die.

SFX: Mighty Blow. Spend a D6 from the doom pool to double Enhanced Strength for one action.

SFX: Rage. Step up or double any Strength of the Bear Spirit power for one action. If the action fails, step back that power. Activate an opportunity to recover.

SFX: Take a Punch. On a failed reaction roll, spend a die from the doom pool to step back the effect die by –1 and add your physical stress die to your next action.

Limit: Exhausted. Shutdown a Strength of the Bear Spirit power to step up the lowest die in the doom pool, or add a D6 doom die. Activate an opportunity or participate in a Transition Scene to recover.

Limit: Spirit Curse. If a pool includes a Strength of the Bear Spirit power, both 1s and 2s on those dice count as opportunities, but only 1s are excluded from being used for totals or effect dice.

THUNDERCLAW’S WEAPONRY

Enhanced Durability D8, Weapon D8

SFX: Bear Claws. Step back the highest die in an attack action pool to add a D6 and step up physical stress inflicted.

SFX: Smoking Gun. Step up or double your Weapon die for one action. After that action, step back Weapon. Activate an opportunity to recover.

Limit: Gear. Shutdown a Thunderclaw’s Weaponry power or SFX to step up the lowest die in the doom pool, or add a D6 doom die. Activate an opportunity to recover.
