SETTING LIMITS[]

Limit: Curse. Until “DISTINCTION” is removed, count both 1’s and 2’s as opportunities. Remove only 1’s from your dice pool.

Limit: Hostile Environment. If you have access to a SPECIALTY resource, or describe an appropriate stunt and add a D6 doom die or step up the lowest die in the doom pool, you may treat COMPLICATION as a scene distinction instead of a scene complication.

Limit: Dangerous Environment. If a character fails a roll by ten or more, create a COMPLICATION on that character. Each turn thereafter step up that complication. If the complication is stepped up beyond D12, the character is subject to an attack from the doom pool including the complication dealing TYPE stress/trauma.

Limit: Oblation. Spend a D6 SPECIALTY resource, or describe an appropriate stunt and add a D6 doom die or step up the lowest die in the doom pool to ignore “COMPLICATION”.

Limit: Otherworldly Dimension. Unless you are native to SETTING, or have unlocked SETTING count all 1's and 2's on your rolls as opportunities. Only 1's are removed from dice pools and totals.

Limt: Off-Limits Areas. If you have unlocked SETTING for X or less XP, when including a Scene Distinction from an area off-limits to you (DISTINCTION) add a D6 to the doom pool.

Limit: Security Codes. Spend a D6 Covert or Tech resource to shut down any one of the “Alarm System”, “Camera Surveilance”, or “Traps” SFX.
