PUNISHER SAFE HOUSE[]

Punisher-max-50-cover1

[Unlockable 15 XP] Frank Castle is known to own safe-houses and secluded acres of land across New York City and New York State. He keeps his seemingly unlimited arsenal of weapons and his vehicles locked up in these locations when he doesn't use them to simply sleep in, study the files on his targets, for target practice or as workshops for modifications and repairs. He pays the rent from the proceedings of crime syndicates he has shut down and uses a vast array of false identifications.

Scene Distinctions[]

Enormous Cache of Weapons and Ammo, Functional, Inconspicuous Location

Scene Complications[]

none

Comm D8, Restraints D10, Sensors D8, Weapon D8

SFX: Alarm System. Spend 1 PP/a D10 from the doom pool, or if you fail a roll including a Covert or Crime specialty against the doom pool, add “Silent Alarm” as a scene distinction and "Lockdown" as a scene complication. Spend a D10 effect die from a roll including a Crime or Tech specialty to remove “Silent Alarm” or "Lockdown". If the “Silent Alarm” scene distinction is not removed after two turns, activate the SFX: Self-Destruct Sequence at no cost.

SFX: Armory. When creating a Combat or Vehicle resource, add a D6 and step up your effect die.

SFX: Security System. Borrow one or more dice from the doom pool to take an action inflicting physical stress or complications on a target. If the action is successful return the dice to the doom pool. If the action is unsuccessful step back all dice by -1 and return them to the doom pool.

SFX: Self-Destruct Sequence. If you have unlocked Punisher Safe House, spend 1 PP to create a timer complication at D10. Step up the timer complication at the end of each following turn. When the timer complication steps up beyond D12, make a physical attack using the doom pool against all targets inside. Against multiple targets, for each additional target add a D6 and keep an additional effect die. Destroy Punisher's Safe House afterwards.

SFX: Welcome Back, Frank. If you have unlocked Punisher Safe House, when you spend a transition scene in it, you may step up your physical stress die and move it to the doom pool. Spend 1 PP to do the same with physical trauma.

Limit: Broken. Shutdown a Punisher Safe House power to step up the lowest die in the doom pool, or add a D6 doom die. Spend a die from the doom pool equal to the size of the power to recover.

Limit: Security Bypass. Spend a D10 “Punisher’s Access Codes” resource to shut down the "Alarm System" or “Security System” SFX.
