Nick Fury was seriously wounded in France during World War II. He was saved in part due to Professor Sternberg's Infinity Formula. Fury must be inoculated by the serum every year or he will age dramatically. Since Fury's first inoculation, the Colonel had to pay a blackmail price to Sternberg every year to acquire the serum.
The Infinity Formula substantially slowed his aging process, and Fury was thrust with a double edged sword: although his life was saved, the consequences of the Infinity Formula would haunt him throughout his life as he would see many friends age and die, as well as become the target of various villains seeking his secret.
When Professor Sternberg was killed Valentina Allegra de Fontaine liberated the serum from its captors and inoculated Fury just in time to save his life. The Infinity Formula is now mass-produced by S.H.I.E.L.D. to conserve the lives of their most valuable agents and assets.
A dose of Infinity Formula is equivalent to a D8 Business, Covert, or Medical Resource.

SFX: Immunity. Spend 1 PP/a doom die to ignore stress, trauma, or complications from aging, disease, or psychic attack.
SFX: Inoculation. Inject a dose of Infinity Formula during a transition scene to recover your physical stress and step back your physical trauma by –1.
Limit: Instauration. Shutdown Infinity Formula to gain 1 PP/add a D6 to the doom pool or step up the smallest doom die. Spend 1 PP/D6 from the doom pool to recover.
